Comida para los buitres / Food for the vultures

Que pena que los buitres ya no puedan comer en el campo.

What a pity vultures can not feed at the country any more.

Por si alguien no lo sabe, desde hace algún tiempo todas las vacas, ciervos, jabalíes, y demás animales que mueren en las fincas de la sierra deben ser recogidos por coches todoterreno modificados, a los que se les ha acoplado un cajón, donde se acumulan restos animales de toda la jornada.

If anyone doesn't know that, for quite a while, every cow, deer, wild boar and the rest of animals that die at the estates must be picked up by all-terrain vehicles, that have been modified coupling a box, where all the remains and carrion accumulate along the day.

En el mejor de los casos, estos restos son llevados a "muladares" controlados, donde se depositan y van los buitres y córvidos a comer. Yo no veo mal que existan estos muladares, pero su función debería ser aumentar la población de aves carroñeras en la península, no domesticar y concentrarlos en determinados puntos.

At best, these remains are taken to "muladares" (singular: muladar), under surveillance, where they are placed, and the vultures and corvids feed. I don't think they are useless, but they would be useful for increasing scavenging birds at the peninsula (Spain), and not for taming and bringing together (concentrate) at certeain points.

No veo mal que se recojan los restos de animales que han muerto por alguna enfermedad infecciosa, pero los animales que no representen ningún problema para el medio ambiente deberían de dejarse, para que buitres, cuervos, zorros, y decenas de carnívoros oportunistas cierren el ciclo en el mismo sitio donde los animales que ahora están muertos pastaron y se criaron hace mucho tiempo.

I don't think picking up the carrion of sick animals is a bad idea, but those animals that don't represent any problem to the environment, should be left at the countryside, so vultures, crows, foxes and dozens of opportunist carnivores closure the cycle in the same place where these animals grazed and bred a long time ago.
